Elf on the Shelf: Day 1

Last year I started the Elf on the Shelf Christmas tradition with my son. It was so fun but very exhausting. This was an awesome way to make our holidays more memorable.

So for those of you have been living under a rock or do not have kids yet this is what elf on the shelf is all about. Since Santa has sooooo many children to keep track of during the holidays he sends a scout elf to your home to monitor if your child is being naughty or nice. So when my son’s elf arrived it was in a package from Santa. I found some cute little Santa stamps online and put it in a box with brown paper so it looked as if it came from the post office.

Once he was opened the package, there was a letter from Santa explaining the rules and telling him that he had to give him a name. So I came up with a list of names for the elf and let him pick out a name. Snowball is what he came up with. Then I went to the site https://www.elfontheshelf.com/elf-registry
